How To Stream Jurassic World: Dominion Online
Starting today, Friday, July 15, Jurassic World: Dominion is available for 48-hour rental On Demand.
The epic dinosaur movie is not currently available with any streaming subscriptions, but it will eventually be released on Peacock as part of a new deal between the service and Universal Pictures. While theres no official streaming date, we know Jurassic World Dominion will hit Peacock no later than four months after its release, putting its streaming debut sometime before October 10.

The franchises first film, Jurassic Park, was released in 1993 and was directed by Steven Spielberg. A massive box office hit at the time, the film spawned a franchise that includes sequels The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III and the reboot/sequel Jurassic World and its follow-up Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom .

What The Jurassic World 3 Story Is About
While the main plot of Jurassic World: Dominion has been largely kept under wraps, audiences already know enough about the returning cast of characters and how the previous film set them up to return in the latest installment. Jurassic World 3 will likely involve Claire and Owen teaming up with Alan, Ellie, and Ian in dealing with the dinosaurs now roaming outside of the original parks.
Jurassic World 3 Is Officially Done
Production for the Jurassic World movie has finally been completed. After production was shut down fairly early in the process, audiences were concerned about the heavy delay this could cause on the release date. However, the director Colin Trevorrow confirmed that Jurassic World 3 is officially done, meaning that audiences can expect more promotional material as the release date approaches.

No, technically, you dont need to watch the previous Jurassic movies to watch Jurassic World Dominion. But should you watch them? Yes. Thats not because you need to understand the characters or storylines that led to the sixth and final installment of the franchise. But because its a modern classic, especially the Jurassic Park trilogy. Its also nostalgic, as most 90s movies now are.
As far as the Jurassic World series is concerned, Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom do serve as previous chapters to Jurassic World Dominion. It might be helpful to know about the characters and the overall plot, but again, it’s not required.
If you want a short but complete idea of what leads to Jurassic World Dominion, then heres something you can watch and still skip all the movies in the franchise.
A five-minute clip, released in November 2021, this is a prologue that takes you on a journey back in time, 65 million years ago, to the world of dinosaurs, even before the humans walked the earth, and brings you to the present day, where a dinosaur has gone rogue and entered the human society. This short video also reveals how the dinosaurs were recreated by Dr. John Hammond in the very first movie, Jurassic Park.

Jurassic World : Dominion Trailer
The first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion saw the original trio that’s Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill are reunited once more, and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Clare is seen in some serious trouble with a dino pursuing her into a body of water. A lot of dinosaurs are also running wild, which, as you might imagine, is causing a lot of problems. Since its release, there’s also been another trailer which gives some more insight into the plot as raptor Blue’s baby is taken. The clip shows the team battling as dinosaurs rule the earth, with Dern’s Ellie Sattler warning: “If our world’s gonna survive, what matters is what we do now.”
Before the trailers arrived, a dinosaur-packed 10-minute short was released that helps bridge the gap between Fallen Kingdom and the new movie.
“Battle at Big Rock” is set in northern California, a year after the dinosaurs were set loose at the Lockwood mansion. It shows a vacationing family getting caught in the middle of a scrap between a carnivorous Allosaurus and a family of plant-eating Nasutoceratops, hiding from the carnage in their RV.
Just as interesting as the central plot, however, are the hints at how the world has changed. News reports mention sightings of baby dinosaurs suggesting theyre breeding in the wild while theres talk of adapting to a new normal.

Closing out today’s Annapurna Interactive showcase, we got a first look at a new game from Great Ape Games that looks like a Jurassic Park survival horror. It’s called The Lost Wild, and it’s coming to PC…sometime.
The Lost Wild appears to be some kind of survival horror game in the first person perspective. We see a player exploring a dense jungle full of dinosaurs, some of which appear to be mostly harmless-ish and others that are clearly full of teeth and ready to chomp down on a person.
There’s some sneaking around the jungle trying to avoid these hungry dinos, and there are also some spooky looking interiors briefly shown that include whiteboard notes indicating science or research of some kind being done, and at one point the player tosses a flare to distract or confuse some threatening dinos. Though this isn’t a Jurassic Park licensed game as far as we can tell, it’s clearly playing off some of those vibes.
We’re looking forward to seeing more of The Lost Wild as it gets closer to release. We don’t have any detail on a release window or platforms yet, except that it has a page up on Steam as of today and you can wishlist it if you want. Hopefully we’ll see more scary dinos soon.

Jurassic World: Dominion Release Date
Date: June 10
Jurassic World Dominion takes place four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in which dinosaurs now exist among humans. Following the destruction of Isla Nubar in the previous film, dinosaurs live as well as hunt alongside humans. This unprecedented balance between both dinosaurs and humans sets up a conflict that will determine whether they can coexist, or if one must assert itself as the apex predator to the other.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return once again from the ensemble cast of the Jurassic World franchise, while the film will also see the return of Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill from the original Jurassic Park trilogy. Dern, Goldblum, and Neill’s appearance together will mark their first collective return to the franchise since the original film in 1993.

Jurassic Park’s Main Stars Will Also Return
In addition to Owen, Claire, and the other returning Jurassic World cast members, Jurassic Park‘s original trio of leads Dr. Alan Grant , Dr. Ellie Satler , and Dr. Ian Malcolm are also set to reunite onscreen for the first time since 1993. Director Colin Trevorrow has confirmed these won’t just be cameos either, as the original Jurassic Park trio Neill, Dern, and Goldblum will be in the whole movie, and together at that. They will also star in their own parallel story to Owen and Claire’s that eventually intersects with them.
Jurassic World : Dominion Runtime
Jurassic World Dominion is the longest movie in the franchise, clocking in at a huge 2 hours and 23 minutes.
Previously, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom were tied for being the longest Jurassic movies, both coming in at 2 hours 9 mins. Then came the original Jurassic Park at 2 hours 7 mins, followed by the first Jurassic World at 2 hours 4 minutes. In last place remains Jurassic Park 3, which comes in at a smooth 1 hour 32 minutes. Expect big things from Dominion, then.

Jurassic World 3 Plot: What Is Jurassic World 3 About
Jurassic World: Dominion doesnt have an official plot synopsis yet, but the preview makes clear its going to pick up where Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom left off, with the dinosaurs being set free into the wild. This is further backed up by the events of the 2019 short film, Battle at Big Rock, which teased the difficulty humans were having in adjusting to dinosaurs in the wild.
Fallen Kingdom of course ended with Blue the velociraptor looking out at a suburb, but dont go expecting Dominion to start with Blue terrorising the neighbourhood. Chris Pratt hinted at a jump forward in time during an interview with MTV News. The animals are out. We cant put em back in the box. What are we gonna do? he said. How is not only these dinosaurs, but this technology moving forward going to affect the planet? And we jump forward, its like, oh! oh right! Pratt also said that the film will deliver on the promise of Fallen Kingdoms ending.
Director and writer Colin Trevorrow has also let a few clues about the films plot slip over the last two years as well. Hes promised the film wont have dinosaurs attacking towns and cities like mini-Godzillas because he considers that unrealistic. Instead, hes interested in lower stake dino encounters.

Where To Watch And Stream Jurassic World Dominion:
As of right now, if you want to see Jurassic World Dominion, you’ll have to take a trip to the movie theater for a showing. But don’t worry, because it won’t be too long before you can stream it in your living room. As Universal Pictures struck a deal with NBC to stream “the majority” of their movies on Peacock once they leave the cinema, make sure you’re on the lookout for it.
Speaking of when the movie will be online, there’s one pretty big catch to discuss. According to a December 2021 report from the Hollywood Reporter, don’t expect to see Jurassic World Dominion on your screens too quickly. While many of Universal’s films are dropping on Peacock within 45 days of the movie’s premiere, this unfortunately will not apply in this scenario. Furthermore, Newsweek reported that the third Jurassic World flick may not be available for at least four months after debuting in theaters.
Long story short: Jurassic WorldDominion will most likely land on Peacock just in time for Halloween. There Will Be No More Hybrid Dinosaurs
What’s defined the Jurassic World franchise, aside from the refined special effects, has been its use of hybrid dinosaurs. Jurassic World introduced the Indominus Rex, while Fallen Kingdom shrunk the design for the Indoraptor. Jurassic World 3 won’t include hybrid dinosaurs, as revealed by director Colin Trevorrow. While this plot thread has allowed for creatures that boast supernatural attacks, it’s also distracted from the more classic dinosaurs Jurassic Park fans fell in love with/were terrified of. As a result, they won’t be back. Colin Trevorrow has said that Jurassic World 3 will take a more “back to basics” approach, with no more hybrid dinosaurs set to appear.
When Will Jurassic World: Dominion Be Streaming
You can currently rent Jurassic World: Dominion on Digital from a number of different retailers, including Prime Video, Apple, Vudu, YouTube and Xfinity. You can find all available online retailers here.
No official date has been given regarding when Dominion will be streaming, but the film is a Universal Pictures release and will almost certainly be streaming on Peacock after a 45-day window of theatrical exclusivity.

Jurassic World 3 Trailer: Can You See A Trailer For Jurassic World 3
Jurassic World: Dominion got its first trailer on February 10, 2022. In it, we see Pratts character starting to deal with the ramifications of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
On April 28 2022 new trailer dropped that gave the series its own version of Baby Yoda, Blues adorable baby.
Before these two trailers, if you went and watched Fast and the Furious 9 at your local IMAX, you could see the films first five minutes its now available online. The teaser begins in the Jurassic era and shows off some new dinosaurs that weve never seen before before cutting to a battle between the fan favourite Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Giganotosaurus.

As the two do battle, the film fades to the present day, and we get to see a T-Rex rampaging through a drive-through cinema. This gives us our first clue as to what the films probably going to be about.
Weve also had some our first look at Bryce Dallas Howard in the film, courtesy of an exclusive still from Total Film. Howards looking worse for wear, standing in a swampy pool while a big dino looms overhead. Oh dear!
