Bible Authors Believed In The Creation Narrative

Were Behemoth And Leviathan Dinosaurs
No. Although these animals mentioned in the book of Job cannot be identified with certainty, Behemoth is generally identified as the hippopotamus and Leviathan as the crocodile. These identifications match the descriptions of them given in the Scriptures. In any case, the terms Behemoth and Leviathan cannot refer to dinosaurs. God told Job to observe these animals personally, and Job lived long after the dinosaurs had passed off the scene.Job 40:16 41:8.

The sudden extinction of the dinosaurs, as shown by the geological record, is a mystery that evolutionary paleontologists have considerable difficulty explaining. What happened to wipe out the dinosaurs so quickly? A change of temperature? A change in the plants? Blasts of heat from a meteor? Mammals eating dinosaur eggs? A change in oxygen concentration? Overspecialization? Senility? All these have been offered as explanations by evolutionary scientists. The dominant theory at present is that a large object from space hit Earth and blasted up so much dust that the sun was obscured for months. Plants and animals died. However there are problems with this theory. If this happened, why was the extinction selective? Why did some plants and animals, including some more fragile than dinosaurs, not become extinct?

Cave paintings by native Americans seem to depict a dinosaur.48 Scientistsaccept the mammoth drawings in the cave, so why not the dinosaurdrawings? Evolutionary indoctrination that man did not live at the same timeas dinosaurs stops most scientists from even considering that the drawings are of dinosaurs.
It certainly would be no embarrassment to a creationist if someone discovereda dinosaur living in a jungle. However, this should embarrass evolutionists.

Millions Of Years And The Gospel
The teaching that dinosaurs lived and died millions of years before man directlyattacks the foundations of the gospel in another way. The fossil record, ofwhich dinosaurs form a part, documents death, disease, suffering, cruelty, andbrutality. It is a very ugly record. Allowing for millions of years in the fossil layersmeans accepting death, bloodshed, disease, and suffering before Adams sin.
But the Bible makes it clear that death, bloodshed, disease, and sufferingare a consequence of sin. As part of the Curse, God told Adam in Genesis 3:19that he would return to the dust from which he was made, showing that thesentence of death was not only spiritual but physical as well.
After Adam disobeyed God, the Lord clothed Adam and Eve with coatsof skins . To do this He must have killed and shed the blood ofat least one animal. The reason for this can be summed up by Hebrews 9:22 :
And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, andwithout shedding of blood there is no remission.
God required the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sins. Whathappened in the Garden of Eden was a picture of what was to come in JesusChrist, who shed His blood on the Cross as the Lamb of God, who takesaway the sin of the world .
If the shedding of blood occurred before sin, as would have happened if the garden was sitting on a fossil record of dead things millions of years old, then the foundation of the Atonement would be destroyed.
Can Fundamentalist Christians Believe In Dinosaurs
The primary thing that differentiates fundamentalists from other varieties of Christians is their conviction they can prove that the Old and the New Testaments hold and, therefore, the first and final word in any discussion on ethics, geology, and biology. While most Christian authorities have no trouble interpreting the six days of creation in the Bible as figurative rather than literal because we know each day can be 500 million years long! Fundamentalists insist that a biblical day is the same as today. Combined with a close reading of the age of the patriarchs and a reconstruction of the timing of biblical events, this reduces the patriarchs to an age of approximately 6,000 years.
It is extremely difficult to fit composition and dinosaurs into that timeframe. Fundamentalists suggest solutions to this problem:
Dinosaurs were real, but they lived only a few thousand years ago. This is the most common solution to the dinosaur problem: Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and their ilk roamed the earth during biblical times, and even two, two by two, rode on Noahs ark . Through). They dont explain how soft tissue from dinosaur bones could have been preserved that long. According to the Bible, the Earth is around 6000 years old. Knowing this, we can conclude that dinosaurs were created around 6000 years ago.

In Job, this creature is described as having a tail like cedar and an herbivore diet. It also says this colossal beast had large bones like beams of bronze.
2. Leviathan
The leviathan seems to have armor-plated skin that no hook can pierce. Like the behemoth, the author makes note of the strong limbs this animal possesses.
