The drive-thru experience features nearly 50 lifelike, animatroinc Dinosaurs in a pre-historic Pangea supercontinent setting. Simple, affordable ticket packages allow seven passengers or less in a single vehicle to enjoy the show together.
Dino Safari invites visitors to grab a prehistoric passport and discover how plate tectonics, land bridges, and volcanic activity allowed dinosaurs to disperse to all corners of the globe, giving each of todays seven continents its own unique selection of these giant reptiles such as the mighty T. rex of North America, the gigantic amphibious Spinosaurus from Africa, and bizarre, crested Cryolophosaurus from the lush island environment of Jurassic Antarctica.

Dino Safari At North Point Mall Adds Birthday Party Room
Dino Safari: A Walk-Through Adventure is announcing several new additions to its limited time, fan favorite walk-through journey. The dino destination launches weekly story times, a virtual reality experience and a brand-new birthday party room. The immersive exhibit also rolled out new ticket pricing and bundles.
Weve seen an overwhelming response since the exhibit first opened in November, said Imagine Exhibitions President and CEO Tom Zaller. Our guests cant get enough of these larger-than-life dino replicas, so we made our ticket bundles perfect for those who want to come back again and again.
Visitors can now host a prehistoric party in Dino Safaris new birthday party room. Guests will have access to the private room for an hour and are encouraged to bring any decorations to add to the festivities. The party packages also included an appearance by the baby dino and puppeteer tickets to the exhibit a take-home item for every child in the group and a surprise gift for the birthday child. Dino Safari has updated its ticket pricing. From Monday to Friday, admission tickets will start at $15. During peak days, Saturday and Sunday, tickets will start at $19. Children under two are still free.

Taking The Dino Safari
The Dino Safari exhibit, located in Miami and Boston, too, was created by Imagine Exhibitions in collaboration with Dr. Gregory M. Erickson, an American paleontologist. Erickson is one of only 150 full-time paleontologists in the world and his work with Imagine Exhibitions helped present over thirty dinosaurs in size and shape through hands-on and child-friendly experiences. The animatronic movements make the dinosaurs really come to life.
Dinosaurs are arranged by continent of origin and by different historical periods. The size of the dinosaurs is sometimes overwhelming as the T-Rex, for example, towers overheard. What cannot be accurately portrayed are the colors of the animals. In the fun zoom for activities, children are given the opportunity to design the colors of a dinosaur for themselves which is then displayed in an on-screen exhibit. The children were captivated.

With the release of Jurassic World: Dominion recently, our younger grandchildren have been begging to go see the movie. At 8 and 4-1/2 years old, the movie doesnt seem appropriate for them yet.
When I saw an ad for Dino Safari in Alpharetta, I asked the children what they thought about it. After jumping up and down for awhile, Ava said, Its a Jurassic Park for kids!
After visiting the place, I can tell you that Ava was absolutely correct. Its an amazing place that is really designed to give children an encounter with all things dinosaur.

Atlanta-based Imagine Exhibitions, well aware of said appeal, has been organizing successful dinosaur displays for years all over the world. Its latest Dino Safari exhibition, packed with 30 animatronic dinosaurs, debuted Nov. 19 at North Point Mall in Alpharetta in the old Sears space by the food court. Its open Wednesday through Sunday until April.
While geared for kids, adults with a child-like fascination with dinosaurs will find the exhibit appealing as well. And at $15 a person, the price point is significantly less than other Atlanta-based experiences featuring Van Gogh, Banksy, Downton Abbey and Candytopia.
Tom Zaller, who runs Imagination Exhibitions, said the dino shows his company creates are largely geared to kids 10 and younger but he is amazed how broad the audience can be. Youll see grandparents. Youll see 20-year-olds wearing Jurassic Park shirts, he said. You can tell they are really fans.
Besides the dinosaurs, there is a sandbox for kids to unveil dinosaur bones with brushes, a toddler-friendly slide, workers working dinosaur puppets and a special play area for young kids featuring a dino-friendly cornhole game and an obstacle course.

Paleontologist Dr Gregory M Erickson
Dr. Erickson serves as a professor of anatomy and vertebrate paleobiology at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Hes served as the host of the National Geographic series Hunter and Hunted, has participated in 135 science documentaries, and written many scientific articles about his findings. Hes renown in the world paleontology community.
Erickson learned from his father, a wildlife biologist and the regional director of the Alaska Department of Game and Fish, how to tell the age of a bear by the cementum rings on the bears teeth. He carried that interest into his work as a paleontologist. With a partner, Erickson recently co-discovered that the bite force of a Tyrannosaurus rex was the equivalent of being crushed by three small cars. He also helped National Geographic determine the force of a crocodiles bite.
In an interview with Earth Magazine, Erickson explained why the study of dinosaurs is so important for children:
Dinosaurs are often childrens first introduction into science, and its actually an important field in that dense. Its dinosaur paleontologys most redeeming quality, in my opinion. When I talk to kids, I dont tell them that we already know everything about dinosaurs. The problem with that message is youre telling kids everything has been done and there is nothing for a kid to do if they grow up and want to be a paleontologist. The bottom line is that we know hardly anything about dinosaurs relative to animals that live today.

PARMA — A drive-thru dinosaur experience will be featured June 5 through 27 at the Shoppes at Parma.
Cleveland native Tom Zaller of Imagine Exhibitions, the producer of Dino Safari, has engineered a fun and educational nearly 60-minute drive-thru dino experience. He was joined earlier this week by Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter and a baby dinosaur in a ribbon cutting signifying the start of the three-week engagement.
