Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass later today, its been confirmed.
The surprise announcement was made ahead of Xboxs usual round-up of games coming to Game Pass in the next fortnight.
The news was announced in a tweet posted on the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account on Monday.
UPDATE: The next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming also includes Skate, Farming Simulator 22 and Sniper Elite 5.

Xbox revealed the new slate of games its adding to Game Pass for the last two weeks of May, and its a decent list. It includes six day-one releases and Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Several of the games are available today, including the aforementioned Jurassic World title. The other games are Her Story for PC and Skate for cloud. Two day one releases also debut today: Little Witch in the Woods, a cute sim title thats available in early access, and Umurangi Generation Special Edition, a futuristic photography sandbox game.
Later this week, were getting Farming Simulator 22, which needs no introduction, and Vampire Survivors, a gothic bullet-hell roguelike. In the last week of the month, we get day one releases Floppy Knights, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, Sniper Elite 5, and Pac-Man Museum+. Were also getting Cricket 22 for PC.
Game Pass has proven to be a winner for Microsoft, and its telling that PlayStation Plus is starting to look more and more like it. Xboxs alleged plans to launch a dedicated streaming puck for Game Pass cloud titles looks like more of a good decision every time the company announces new games. Ubisoft is reportedly considering adding its Ubisoft+ service to Game Pass, and it said recently that the service will ultimately be available on Xbox.

Jurassic World resuscitated Steven Spielbergs beloved dinosaur franchise and spawned two blockbuster sequels, but according to Xbox creator Seamus Blackley, the film began as a video game.
In a Twitter thread that began on July 22nd, Blackley explained that in 2012 he began developing a new Jurassic Park video game at the behest of Spielberg, who was hoping to bring back the franchise. Blackley who had created the failed Jurassic Park-themed game Trespasser in 1998 and had since begun financing games for the Creative Arts Agency thought a new project could make up for the past skid mark, so he made a pitch trailer for a story called Jurassic World.
I wrote a story about dinosaurs on Isla Sorna and the research sites escaping, and about how humans had to come to terms with the original owners of the planet, Blackley wrote. My thesis was that audiences wanted to KNOW the dinosaurs more than to kill them. Not monsters. Earthlings.
Blackley continued, We had brought these earthlings back, sentient creatures, individuals. And so we need to learn to share, even to be friends. In our game, the humans that want to eliminate the dinosaurs are the enemies. The dinosaurs become our allies. By saving them, we save ourselves.
