Indominus Rex & Velociraptor
- Forest Environment
The Indominus Rex made its debut in the Jurassic Park universe with Jurassic World, and its the first dinosaur to contain several dinosaur genes. And even though the movie version of this fierce Carnivore was uncontainable, players can keep the Indominus Rex secured in an enclosure.
And as players can expect, adding the Indominus Rex into their park will greatly increase the overall park rating, especially if they add a couple of Velociraptors. But, creating the Indominus Rex uses up lots of Scientists and Research, so players should expect to spend quite a bit of cash to unlock it.

/12 Elasmosaurus & Plesiosaurus
- Lagoon Environment
Players who want to have an underwater enclosure that draws in the crowds will want to include the Elasmosaurus and Plesiosaurus since these two marine reptiles combined have 600+ Base Appeal. Furthermore, they require minimal socialization, which means players will need less of them in the enclosure to feel happy.
But, players will need to be willing to spend a lot of cash on feeding these beasts of the sea since they have a Genome Trait of Large Appetite. And while they tend to coexist in harmony, some of them may be aggressive, which means players will need to act quickly to avoid losing one of them.

The official description for the Pack states:

It further reads:
Inspired by Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Animations hit Netflix show, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, this DLC features two entirely new dinosaurs, two new variants for existing species, and eight eye-catching skins that players can use to bring their parks to life.
The game intricately renders these prehistoric creatures and their idosyncracies in the park. The realistic representation is further nuanced through the functioning of the park and various features as it tries to sustain an ecosystem long gone by.

How To Diagnose Dinosaurs With Unknown Ailments
In the first game, players would receive a notification whenever dinosaurs were sick with something and would be able to send their rangers to investigate and treat the dinosaur immediately. In Jurassic World Evolution 2, however, things are a bit more detailed than that.JWE2 introduces the paleo-medical facility, which has a sort of dinosaur ambulance that goes around to diagnose and treat minor sicknesses and illnesses.
If during the usual status checks a dinosaur is said to have an unknown ailment, players can tell their paleo-medical facility to inspect the dinosaur using the Mobile Vet Unit. What to do next depends on the ailment.

Selling Dinosaurs In Jurassic World Evolution 2
Selling dinosaurs is not an intuitive process. Theres no ever-present sell button that the player can access at any time. A few pre-conditions need to be met first.
First, the player needs to have an Asset Containment Unit ready, which means building an ACU center. They should be able to build one very early on, but they can be upgraded via Jurassic World Evolution 2s research system. The more its upgraded, the easier the next part of the process will be.
Next, the player needs to select an ACU helicopter and give it a task to tranquilize the dinosaur they wish to sell. It should take two to three tranquilizer darts to knock a large dinosaur out. The tranquilizer guns reload speed and accuracy can improve with ACU building upgrades.
Once again, the player returns to the ACU building, this time selecting a transport team and pointing them to the freshly tranquilized dinosaur. One of the options available after clicking the dinosaur should be a Sell button.
Selling is a permanent action, and this is the last chance for the player to back out from the offer. The game will show the going price for the dinosaur, and ask the player if they want to go through with it. They should make sure theyre not selling their star attraction before agreeing.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
/12 Maiasaura & Parasaurolophus
- Plains Environment
Even though herbivores have less impact on park rating, players can significantly improve park rating by having two medium-sized herbivores in the same enclosure. That’s why players should make sure to invest in the Maiasaura and Parasaurolophus dinosaurs, as they are the perfect match when it comes to medium-sized dinosaurs.
RELATED: Jurassic World Evolution 2: How to Sell Dinosaurs
Players can obtain the Maiasaura by completing the Egg Mountain dig site, and it’ll cost $540,000 to research. As for the Parasaurolophus, players have several dig sites they can choose from, like Kirtland Formation or Nemegt Formation A. The only major downside of these herbivores is that they are susceptible to Avian Influenza, but players can find a mod for Jurassic World Evolution 2 to fix that.

/12 Attenborosaurus & Ichthyosaurus
- Underwater Environment
One of the few marine reptiles in Jurassic World Evolution 2, the Attenborosaurus is a majestic creature that’ll increase a park’s appeal by quite a lot. And the best part is that the Attenborosaurus can be obtained early on in a playthrough if the player focuses on dig sites in Europe or the United Kingdom.
And players that want to further increase their park’s appeal can add the Ichthyosaurus to the Attenborosaurus’s habitat. And that’s because both of these seafaring creatures are Piscivores, making them ideal habitat partners. And the best part is that both have a robust immune system, which means players will spend less keeping them healthy.
‘jurassic World Evolution 2’ Dinosaur List: Every Dino Pterosaur And Marine Reptile

Jurassic World Evolution 2 has upwards of 75 dinosaurs for you to breed and look after.
This is a dramatic increase over its 2018 predecessor, which had less than half of that many species when it first launched. The base version of the original Jurassic World Evolution had just 37 prehistoric creatures in its roster .
Having said that, this count was later supplemented with expansion packs that brought the total up to 67. As such, a lot of the dinosaurs that are featured in the newly-released sequel might be familiar to veteran theme park managers, but there are still some fresh additions.
Most notably, the game introduces aerial pterosaurs and marine assets , alongside a few more terrestrial reptiles.
The microscopic variations between some of the species here will probably go unappreciated by a lot of players, as it’s often just a case of them having slightly longer snouts or a different number of horns. For instance, most of the sauropods look basically the same, other than them maybe having more vertical necks or shorter limbs.
With that said, don’t expect every single dinosaur in the Jurassic World Evolution 2 bestiary to be completely unique, although there are definitely some one-of-a-kind attractions.

How To Know The Needs Of A Dinosaur
Each species of dinosaur has its own needs: some are more comfortable with more space, others need water, others live with more specimens of their species To find out what each one needs, you have to send a jeep from the Response Facility to interact with the animal. You can do it manually, or assign it as a task.
As you can see in the example on these lines, our Carnotaurus is in an enclosure where it lacks Water and Sand. This can be verified by looking at the bars next to each need the value has to be outside the red part. Pay special attention to Coexistence and Population: the first indicates the number of dinosaurs of its own species that it tolerates in the enclosure, while Population, the number of dinosaurs in general that it tolerates. The rest of the values are easy to interpret. However, a dinosaur with Coexistence Problems must always be isolated from others.
Keep in mind that if a dinosaur is comfortable, it will not try to escape the enclosure, or at least it will not do it as often, which makes it essential to get them comfortable as soon as possible.
