Dinosaur Infamy In Jurassic World Evolution 2
While the mechanic of dinosaur infamy has been in Jurassic World Evolution since the first game, the second game uses new hunting mechanics and systems to breathe new life into the mini-ecosystems players can create in their enclosures. The most tricky part of raising certain dinosaurs infamy levels comes with how the synthesized dinosaurs can die from many things, including old age.
For those looking to make strong, ruthless dinosaurs, there are a few easy ways to raise infamy levels quickly. Firstly, players should breed one dinosaur that the creature whose infamy they want to raise dislikes. This almost ensures that the two will have a fight in some form or another. Breeding only one at a time is advisable since having them in the same enclosure will greatly lower the dinosaur’s comfort levels. Having one dinosaur try to escape is much better than several at a time.
Depending on the amount of research a player has unlocked, the creature players make as a sacrifice can have genes synthesized into it that lower its attack, defense, and other stats that make it an easy, killable target. If this isnt possible, players should take size into account. For example, a tyrannosaurus rex can easily take down a single velociraptor just from size, and how the creatures are built. Using small herbivores against bigger, more powerful carnivores is incredibly successful in raising infamy.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
How To Transport Dinosaurs
The good news is that there is a very easy solution to this, its just that its a little hidden and the game doesnt mention it at all, to the best of our recollection. And if it does, it must have been so fleeting as to pass us and probably the majority of new Jurassic World Evolution player by.
The icon that youre looking for is a helicopter flying with a large package its busy transporting and theres a directional sign next to it to imply that it should be used for moving things. Its the second option from the bottom, just above the demolish button, so its pretty tucked away. Its also pretty much the only clue in the game, so if you missed this then its easy to get stuck not knowing what to do at this stage.

Unlocking Dinosaurs In Jurassic World Evolution 2
The trick with unlocking dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2 is that you essentially need to grind expeditions and research, but Sandbox mode doesn’t actually let you do any of that. What this means is that you’ll have to do all of this in the game’s other three modes Campaign, Chaos Theory, and Challenge mode. Any buildings and dinosaurs you unlock in any of these modes will then be available in Sandbox. While Challenge mode is the easiest place to unlock things, if you want everything you will need to play through Campaign and Chaos Theory. This is because there are a handful of dinosaurs that can only be gained through those modes, such as a campaign mission that unlocks the Allosaurus. With that out of the way, here’s what you’ll need to do in Challenge mode.
You’ll need to play more than once, but pick the Canada map and easy in Challenge mode, then build a Science Center, Expedition Center, Response Facility, and Hatchery. You should play like normal to start out with, as you’ll need plenty of cash to keep your facilities running and the expeditions going. The whole time you’re playing in Challenge mode, remember to keep going to the research tab, and constantly have some kind of research going.

Selling Dinosaurs In Jurassic World Evolution 2
Selling dinosaurs is not an intuitive process. There’s no ever-present sell button that the player can access at any time. A few pre-conditions need to be met first.
First, the player needs to have an Asset Containment Unit ready, which means building an ACU center. They should be able to build one very early on, but they can be upgraded via Jurassic World Evolution 2‘s research system. The more it’s upgraded, the easier the next part of the process will be.
Next, the player needs to select an ACU helicopter and give it a task to tranquilize the dinosaur they wish to sell. It should take two to three tranquilizer darts to knock a large dinosaur out. The tranquilizer gun’s reload speed and accuracy can improve with ACU building upgrades.
Once again, the player returns to the ACU building, this time selecting a transport team and pointing them to the freshly tranquilized dinosaur. One of the options available after clicking the dinosaur should be a “Sell” button.
Selling is a permanent action, and this is the last chance for the player to back out from the offer. The game will show the going price for the dinosaur, and ask the player if they want to go through with it. They should make sure they’re not selling their star attraction before agreeing.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
‘jurassic World Evolution 2’ Dinosaur List: Every Dino Pterosaur And Marine Reptile

Jurassic World Evolution 2 has upwards of 75 dinosaurs for you to breed and look after.
This is a dramatic increase over its 2018 predecessor, which had less than half of that many species when it first launched. The base version of the original Jurassic World Evolution had just 37 prehistoric creatures in its roster .
Having said that, this count was later supplemented with expansion packs that brought the total up to 67. As such, a lot of the dinosaurs that are featured in the newly-released sequel might be familiar to veteran theme park managers, but there are still some fresh additions.
Most notably, the game introduces aerial pterosaurs and marine assets , alongside a few more terrestrial reptiles.
The microscopic variations between some of the species here will probably go unappreciated by a lot of players, as it’s often just a case of them having slightly longer snouts or a different number of horns. For instance, most of the sauropods look basically the same, other than them maybe having more vertical necks or shorter limbs.
With that said, don’t expect every single dinosaur in the Jurassic World Evolution 2 bestiary to be completely unique, although there are definitely some one-of-a-kind attractions.

How To Know The Needs Of A Dinosaur
Each species of dinosaur has its own needs: some are more comfortable with more space, others need water, others live with more specimens of their species To find out what each one needs, you have to send a jeep from the Response Facility to interact with the animal. You can do it manually, or assign it as a task.
As you can see in the example on these lines, our Carnotaurus is in an enclosure where it lacks Water and Sand. This can be verified by looking at the bars next to each need the value has to be outside the red part. Pay special attention to Coexistence and Population: the first indicates the number of dinosaurs of its own species that it tolerates in the enclosure, while Population, the number of dinosaurs in general that it tolerates. The rest of the values are easy to interpret. However, a dinosaur with Coexistence Problems must always be isolated from others.
Keep in mind that if a dinosaur is comfortable, it will not try to escape the enclosure, or at least it will not do it as often, which makes it essential to get them comfortable as soon as possible.

Indominus Rex & Velociraptor
- Forest Environment
- Open Space
The Indominus Rex made its debut in the Jurassic Park universe with Jurassic World, and it’s the first dinosaur to contain several dinosaur genes. And even though the movie version of this fierce Carnivore was uncontainable, players can keep the Indominus Rex secured in an enclosure.
And as players can expect, adding the Indominus Rex into their park will greatly increase the overall park rating, especially if they add a couple of Velociraptors. But, creating the Indominus Rex uses up lots of Scientists and Research, so players should expect to spend quite a bit of cash to unlock it.
Invisible Walls And Trees
So, youre driving around in your Ranger jeep and heading to survey some dinosaurs. This is perhaps the umpteenth time youve taken control, driven into their pen and watched them prance. How about, instead of taking care of the dinosaurs, you just drive straight into them. Why not? It sounds fun cause as much carnage as possible and see how far you can push them. Were not weird, honest, we just like chaos.

Unfortunately, in Jurassic World Evolution 2 you cannot hit dinosaurs with your car. Its a shame, we know, but its the truth. Instead, youll bounce off on an invisible wall, your jeep pushed to its limits as it desperately tries to bonk the dinos legs with its bonnet. Alas, no matter how hard you try, youll never hit them. Fear not though, you can drive straight through trees to your heart’s content. Theyre practically nonexistent in the world of Jurassic World Evolution 2, for some reason.

Jurassic World Evolution : How To Unlock All Dinosaurs For Sandbox Mode
Sandbox is the penultimate mode of Jurassic World Evolution 2, where you finally get to put everything to use and build your dream dino park. If you boot up Sandbox Mode right away, however, you’ll notice that there’s not a lot of options unlocked, especially when it comes to the dinosaurs you can hatch. If you want every breed of dinosaur in Sandbox mode you’ll need to jump through some hoops in order to unlock them. Here’s what you need to know.
Jurassic World Evolution 2s Fossils

The way that players can get their fossils in Jurassic World Evolution 2 works roughly the same as it did in the original title. Players will need to have a Science Center and an Expedition Center in their park to access fossils. From there, players will need to assign a few of their scientists to a dig site, and they’ll go to work digging up the fossils found there. Once their expedition is complete, fans can use the Science Center to assign more scientists to analyze the fossils found.
Players can watch the genome sequence found for the dinosaur underneath the creatures information as fossils are being selected to see how much DNA they’re earning from the items being analyzed. Once the sequence has reached 50%, the dinosaur can be made at the Hatchery by once again asking for the help of the scientist’s players have hired.
By going into the modify genome menu, fans can make sure their JWE2 dinosaurs can act a certain way by giving them genetic traits as well as editing what their appearance looks like with the help of skins.
Fans should note that this only applies to things such as Chaos Theory mode and Sandbox mode where the map calls for players to be able to use fossils to grow their park. Otherwise, the scientists will be sent out on a live capture mission to retrieve a certain amount of dinosaurs, having a random chance value decide how many they successfully bring back.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Dinosaur Fossils In Jurassic World Evolution 2
Here’s a recap of everything you need to do to unlock all dinosaurs:
- Build a Science Center and complete Research to unlock Dig Sites.
- Build an Expedition Center and send Scientists to Dig Sites to gain fossils, or capture live dinosaurs.
- Extract the DNA from fossils and keep gathering them until a dinosaur is at 50 percent Genome progression.
- Once you have the Genome, build a Hatchery and assign Scientists to bring the dinosaur to life.
Keep in mind that each and every step of the process costs money, and quite a bit. So you’ll need to sufficiently manage the rest of your park to keep the cash flowing in.
How Many Dinosaurs Are In Jurassic World Evolution 2
Fortunately, Jurassic World Evolution 2 does not disappoint in the amount of diverse and vast variety of dinosaurs that can be collected for the park. Topping the prior game by quite a bit, there are over 80 dinosaurs to be unlocked. Plus, among previous species types like the Compsognathus and Apatosaurus, they’re also brand new flying reptiles and underwater creatures in Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Aerial animals include the Cearadactylus, Tapejara, and several others. On the aquatic side, players have sea monsters like the Elasmosaurus, Liopleurodon, and Jurassic World’s popular Mosasaurus. In short, Jurassic World Evolution 2 delivers on its promise of surpassing its predecessor thanks to its boost in the types of dinosaurs to be captured.
Here are all the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2:
- Acrocanthosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus
- Velociraptor
Although this is quite a hefty list of unlockable dinosaurs, a couple of species from the original game are not present in Jurassic World Evolution 2. The Spinoraptor, Stegoceratops and Ankylodocus are nowhere to be seen, and the Huayangosaurus is locked behind the Deluxe Pack DLC meaning a real-life purchase has to be made to acquire it.
